Biography

Background
I am the Program Coordinator with the Minnesota Agricultural Education Leadership Council (MAELC), a government-appointed organization that advocates for and promotes agricultural education throughout Minnesota. Prior to working with MAELC, I served as a Legislative Assistant at the Minnesota Senate. While there, I worked with the Senate Agriculture and Rural Economies Committee.

I grew up on a farm in Southern Minnesota and was active in FFA during high school and college. I attended the University of Minnesota - College of Food, Agricultural, and Natural Resource Sciences, graduating with a degree in Agricultural and Food Business Management and a minor in Marketing. Agriculture has always been an important part of my life, and I am excited to be working within the agricultural education and policy industries in Minnesota.

Why the University of Minnesota?
The University of Minnesota provides a family atmosphere! The faculty, staff, and students here understand the importance of agriculture and supporting the next generation of agriculture stakeholders.
