Need a second opinion? Check out what our current students have to say below!

What's your favorite thing about this department?

"To put it simply, the Ag Ed department feels like a family. It's not the largest department so you are really able to get to know the faculty and other students in the major." - Audrey, Ag Ed Junior

Why did you choose the University of Minnesota?

"When I visited competitor colleges, I did not feel the same connection that I did with the faculty here at the U. I felt as though they were interested in me as a person and helping me achieve my career goals." - Paige, ACM Junior

How would you describe your fellow students?

"We all help each other to do our best and celebrate our success together. We are all passionate about agriculture and love sharing it with people." - Laura, Ag Ed Sophomore

What advice do you have for prospective students about college life within our department?

"I've found that I am constantly learning, even thought I may not realize it! No matter where your interests lie, there's always a club, faculty member or opportunity available for you to pursue that." - Brooke, ACM Junior
