Welcome Back to Minnesota, Valerie Earley!
Valerie Earley, an Agricultural Communication & Marketing alum, finished her 2016-2017 year of service as a National FFA Officer. While serving as the Central Region Vice President, Valerie spent her year interacting with FFA members all across the United States. All of us from the U of M Agricultural Education division are incredibly proud of Valerie and would like to extend a warm, “Welcome back to Minnesota!”
During her time as an National FFA Officer, Valerie participated in many outstanding activities, including representing FFA members on a Farmer Roundtable and Executive Order Signing at The White House this past spring with President Trump. She discussed the skills FFA members gain and the experiences they have through agricultural education, making them the future leaders of agriculture.
Valerie noted that this year was a year of growth, friendships, and learning more about agriculture. As she left a lasting impact on many individuals, she hopes to use her skills to provide young people with the opportunities to gain agricultural knowledge and become assets to the future of their communities and agriculture.
Thank you for your year of service, Valerie. If you missed her inspiring retiring address, follow this link to watch it!
