Education
B.S. Agricultural and Food Business Management, University of Minnesota

Background
I grew up on a farm in Southern Minnesota, and was very active in FFA during high school and college. I attended the University of Minnesota-College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences, graduating with a degree in Agricultural and Food Business Management and a minor in Marketing. After college, I started working more closely with policy issues at the Minnesota Senate as a Legislative Assistant. While there I worked primarily with rural members, as well as the Senate Agriculture and Rural Economies Committee. Agriculture has always been an important part of my life, and I am excited to be working with MAELC and Agricultural Education in Minnesota!
