Biography

Background
I grew up in Milbank, South Dakota on a dairy farm. While in high school and college, I enjoyed working at a greenhouse and floral shop.  I taught for one year in South Dakota before moving to Minnesota.  I worked for Ridgewater College in Willmar, MN as a Retention Advisor for the TRiO Student Support Services Program.  I taught high school agricultural education for nearly seven years in Hutchinson, MN where courses offered included horticulture, floriculture, animal and veterinary science, food science, food and environmental chemistry, leadership, and more.  All students were FFA members and had an SAE program.

Interests
I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, gardening, and cooking.
