This course will include laboratory experiences where the learner will build basic mechanical/technological competence in the areas of welding and power mechanics. Students will be expected to gain competence in a variety of skills including oxyacetylene welding, arc welding, plasma arc cutting, virtual welding and power mechanics, specifically small gasoline engines.
