Our flexible, multidisciplinary program allows students to customize their graduate education in accordance with their individual needs and goals.

Plan B: Advanced Studies & Research

Plan C: Initial Licensure

In the Advanced Studies and Research track, students can choose an area of emphasis centering their studies on science communication or agricultural education. In focusing on science communication, students will expand their knowledge and experiences on how to be clear, effective, and knowledgeable communicators as professionals within agriculture, natural resources, and life sciences. An agricultural education emphasis is an opportunity for students with an interest in formal or non-formal education to broaden their pedagogical knowledge and skills as educators. This program may be a good fit for individuals who already have a Minnesota teaching license.
