Searching for a career in agriculture?

Looking for an opportunity to impact an individual’s life? Thinking about a career that utilizes your skills of leadership and communications in the agricultural industry? Consider Agricultural Education!

Careers in Agricultural Communication and Marketing are unlimited!

Employment opportunities are found in Extension, agribusiness, marketing firms, agricultural production enterprises, commodity organizations, and government agencies.

Share your love of agriculture with tomorrow's leaders.

Many of our Teacher Licensure graduates become school-based agricultural education teachers, which involves teaching middle and secondary students in grades 5-12 about agriscience, agribusiness, animal science, horticulture, food science, agricultural mechanics, and natural resource science.

U of M Ag Ed students have participated in internships across the country.

In recent years, students have gained valuable work experience teaching in Minnesota classrooms, writing for agricultural publications including Beef Magazine and AgriNews, and working for a variety of businesses, associations, and organizations such as 4H, the Minnesota Pork Board, Minnesota Soybean Association, and CHS.
