Biography

Background
I grew up on a corn and soybean farm Southeast of the Twin Cities and was actively involved in 4-H and FFA showing cattle and hogs. My interest in agriculture led me to the University of Minnesota to study Agricultural Communications & Marketing to connect with consumers and share the story of modern agriculture.

Throughout college, I had the opportunity to participate in various internship experiences and spent two summers working in agricultural policy in Washington, D.C. I student taught at Martin County West High School and recently completed a master's in Agricultural Education at the University of Minnesota. I enjoyed my graduate coursework, specifically in human resource development, and the structure of the courses providing connection and collaboration across disciplines.

Why the University of Minnesota?
Ski-U-Mah, Row the Boat, Go Gophers!

The University is a great place to learn, grow, and get involved! I love the atmosphere of the St. Paul campus and the sense of community it provides for students, faculty, and staff.
