Biography
Mary Hoffmann is originally from Mondovi, Wisconsin, where she grew up on a dairy and hog farm. She graduated from UW – River Falls with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education. Hoffmann began her teaching career in Wisconsin as an Agricultural Educator and FFA Advisor for eight years at Mineral Point, Juneau, and Prairie Farm schools. In 2006, she moved, along with her family to Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, where she taught for the past 19 years. Hoffmann’s husband is a design detail engineer and her two girls are both in the Ag. Communications, Marketing, and Design field. She has held leadership positions on many boards and committees at the local, regional, state, and national levels. Hoffmann is excited about this new career opportunity to lead Minnesota FFA. She is eager to guide and grow Minnesota FFA and support our state’s FFA Advisors. Her vision and passion for agricultural education will be invaluable as we continue to empower the next generation of leaders in agriculture.
