Biography
Background
T.J. Brown grew up on a small family farm in Mt. Lake, MN and now resides in Good Thunder, MN with his wife and three daughters. T.J. completed his undergraduate degree in Ag Ed in 2004 and his Masters degree in Ag Ed in 2011, both here at the UofM. He also completed his Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Minnesota State University in 2023 and a MBA from Bemidji State University in 2024. T.J. spent twelve years teaching high school agricultural education and industrial technology in Springfield, MN followed by 8 years of teaching Agribusiness and Ag Mechanics at South Central College. T.J. serves as the Executive Director of Minnesota FFA and is passionate about the MN State Fair and School Shop/Laboratory Safety.
Interests
In his free time he enjoys attending church events, being with his family, learning, and planning trips to new destinations.
